Tiger Airways, an Australian Low Cost Carrier, have announced new services from Melbourne and Sydney to selected Australian regional airports. The airline has previously announced an increased service between Sydney and Mackay and is about to commence flights between Sydney and Coffs Harbour.
From March 27 Tiger Airways will commence four return flights a week between Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast which will increase to a daily service in June. Four return flights between Melbourne and Alice Springs will operate from April 9.
A Sydney Cairns service will commence on April 4 and by June this will be a daily service. Tiger Airways will also fly from Sydney to Alice Springs offering four flights a week starting April 9.
