In the last two weeks Australia has signed Memorandums of Understanding with two Middle Eastern Kingdoms.


 

In the last two weeks Australia has signed Memorandums of Understanding with two Middle Eastern Kingdoms.

The MOU with Oman allows for Omani carriers to operate up to four direct flights a week into and out of Australia's major 'gateway' airports.  Up to seven additional flights are permitted providing the flight makes a stopover at an Australian regional airport.  In return Australian carriers can operate up to four weekly flights into and out of any Omani airport from Australia's major 'gateway'airports with up to seven additional flights from Australian regional airports. 

The MOU with Saudi Arabia allows for up to Saudi carriers to operate up to four direct flights a week in to out of Austalia's major 'gateway'airports with unlimited services to and from Australian regional airports.  In return Australian carriers can operate up to six weekly flights into and out of Jeddah and Riyadh with unlimited access to the city of Dammam.
