Virgin Australia Announce More Rockhampton Flights

Virgin Australia have announced an increase in services to and from  Rockhampton Queensland, adding an extra 1500 seats a week.

Flights have increased from four to six a week between Rockhampton and Townsville, operating every day of the week except Saturdays.

From 11 July 2012, Virgin Australia will also increase direct flights between Rockhampton and Sydney from four to six per week, delivering direct flights between Rockhampton and Sydney every day of the week, except Saturdays.

From 6 August 2012, the Rockhampton community will also enjoy the benefits of a revised daily flight schedule to Brisbane featuring a new early morning 6.30am departure – more than an hour earlier than the current first flight of the day.

The schedule change will also deliver an increase in direct services between Rockhampton and Brisbane from six to seven flights daily, Monday through Friday, and from five to six flights on Saturday.
