China Eastern Airlines have announced they will fly direct between Nanjing and Sydney three times a week from 21 December 2012.

China Eastern will fly an A330-300 service between Sydney and Nanjing three times a week then onwards to Beijing, taking its total weekly services from Sydney to twelve.

China is second largest market after only New Zealand as a source of overseas passengers into Sydney.
