Several publications are reporting Scoot Airlines, the Singapore based Low Cost carrier, has bought forward its launch of its services between Singapore to Perth to 12 December.
The bringing forward in the start up date is due to the massive interest in the new service as Scoot has been buoyed by the huge amount of demand since bookings commenced last week.
The extra flights will add an extra 3,200 seats to the busy pre-Christmas period.
Scoot which also operates to Sydney and the Gold Coast will eventually fly five times a week between Perth and Singapore.
