The Australia Day Honours list has recognised Civil Air life member Andrew Beadle. Andrew has been awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia General Division for services to civil aviation industry, particularly in Air Traffic Management.
The Australia Day Honours list has recognised Civil Air life member Andrew Beadle. Andrew has been awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia General Division for services to civil aviation industry, particularly in Air Traffic Management.
Andrew has had an active role in both Civil Air and the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations (IFACTA). Andrew served as a Civil Air Vice President Technical between 1996 and 2000. He went on to be elected Executive Vice President of IFACTA acting in the role between 1999 and 2002 and again 2009 to 2011. Andrew was the Inaugural IFACTA representative to the International Civil Aviation Organisation where he served on the Air Traffic Management Requirements and Performance Panel.
